Accommodation Cost

Accommodation and food package.We organaize your accommodation while on the workshop. Pay Haast Hotel on arrival.

This hotel has a lot of local flavour, plenty of character and characters to engage with.

$235 per person per night = NZ$940 includes all meals and a workshop space.

Or Twin share $325 for two persons, per night = NZ$650 pp includes all meals and a work area

Full breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.

Additional Costs

Travel in our vehicles from Queenstown and back for $110 or travel in your own car to Haast and travel further up the west coast after the workshop.
$25 Tripod hire

This is a fantastic and unique envirnoment to photograph. Haast beach has areas of driftwood that make you feel like to you are in an elephant grave yard. It's always exciting to explore as the driftwood moves about from place to place after every tide.

We plan to treat this workshop as if your on a travel Photography assignment. Tutortials and crtique sessions each day will help you to set your goals.

The Critique Process

For all multi-day photo workshops, students will need to edit their images from each photographic session down to around twelve files. These edited images will be downloaded onto our computer and will be data projected for the group to see. The edited images will become part of a book we will make at the end of the workshop. Copyright of the images remains with the photographers at all times.

If you don’t have your own laptop or downloading devise then please let us know, we can facilitate by using our computers. You will need to have many camera memory cards or a downloading device to back up you files.

Just a quick note to thank you for the weekend. I had a lot of fun and cannot believe how much you taught me in a few days :-) I have started re-reading my photography magazines and suddenly I am getting so much more from them because I know more about the subject. I am definitely keen to come back sometime and do another of your courses.
